Still Life

I finally finished my latest still life painting. It was a race against time as the fruit began to ferment and sag. The fruit flies swarmed so thick it was nearly impossible to see though the writhing mass to see the subject. I think I really captured the essence of the fruit and if you look closely you will see a highlight on every single grape. That is no accident, it is pure skill.

Dang dude, that looks so realistic! If I liked fruit I would've totally thought I could grab a piece and eat it.

Now if you had done a still life of some Choco-Diles and a bowl of Donut Holes, I'd for sure of chipped a tooth on my computer screen.
